Leaving in a flat - noise laws and regulation?

Hi, i leave a block of flats (non council). does anyone knows what are the regulations as i have received complaint from the management company that i make to much "banging" noise.

Ps I hate neighbours who complain to council or management rather come to me and say you are too loud!
 
Basicaly u got to keep the noise down after 11pm till 5am.
write them a letter and say whats the problem, they wont expect that.
