Leather Covered Hardbags

I have the jumbo strong on my vulcan 1600. They are large bags. If you haven't seen them on a 50 I would try to find some pictures somewhere. They might be a tad big for your bike. They look huge even on my bike.

Yea, it has been having some problems lately.....
I think Toe Knee on there had them on his bike before he sold it. I'll see if I can dig up some pics.

Several pics here... (most with aftermarket pipes)

Don't get me wrong I love the bags. It does make the back end look big though. I have gotten lots of compliments on them and they do hold a lot of stuff. I just wanted to warn about the size because they were larger than I thought.

rathr-b-cruisin, bags look great and appreciate your reply with photos, thanks very much.

I also checked out the link to the online store. They didn't mention any modification to the turn signals or anything.

Did you have to make any alterations to the bike or bags?

Thanks again,

I just finished with my Jumbo strong 2 weeks ago. There big maybe a little big for the C50 and if you have stock pipes, they'll sit too high. I have 2 into 1 cobra. Look at the axle nut on the rear wheel.

4d.... SWEET!!!! looking ride. Are you coming to the Yankee Rally (Western MA) this year? There are threads on the VR about it.

I didnt have to do any kind of alterations on the bike or the bags. I dont think they're too big for the c50, although they are big. But i wanted big so thats what i got. I dont think they sit too high, the directions say you only need one inch of clearance between the bags and the pipes and so far they have been fine.

Oh I see now that you do have the "jumbo". I just saw strong in your post and didnt see the "Jumbo". I'd probably have to agree then that the jumbo would be too big because my strong are huge.

Thanks rathr-b-cruisin,

I figured the jumbo would be too large also and actually changed my mind to the "strong". I think the "strong" will fit better and I'll have reasonable storage.

Cheers,
