Least Favorite Episode From Any Series

'This Little Piggy' is a good episode IMO. Actually, the episode is more of a nod to 'Bewitched' than everything else mentioned, but I guess I can understand that some people don't think sitcom references are appropriate for a superhero show. That said, I thought it worked as both a retro-60s sitcom nod AND a comedic superhero episode. Maybe the absurd flavour of the episode doesn't jive with most people.

No arguments about 'Hawk and Dove' though.

A bad episode, IMO, is one that goes through the motions, doesn't try anything different, and tries to stick in a 'message' at the end. 'Hawk and Dove' fulfills all three, followed by 'Patriot Act'
 
The Simpsons-Margical Mystery Tour: The first in many non-Treehouse Of Horror trilogy episodes that are dull and predictable.

Family Guy-Patriot Games: Every joke that had the possibility of being funny was drawn out to death and intolerable to watch. And then there's that whole Gwneth Paltrow and Harriet Tubman statue joke. WTF?

American Dad-Helping Handis: Disturbing as hell.

Harvey Birdman-Return of Birdgirl: Bad re-hashing of two previous plots [Bannon Custody, first Birdgirl episode].

Aqua Teen Hunger Force-Super Hero, The Cubing, Moonajuana, Boost Mobile: They could've wrote better for these, they all feel like wasted oppurtunities.

Sealab 2021-Isla de Chupacabra, Let 'Em Eat Corn: Painful, unfunny sight gags and forced jokes plague these episodes nonstop. I also hate that ASHDTV episode.

Brak Show-All That I Desire You: Did they even WRITE any jokes for this one?

Space Ghost Coast To Coast-Transcript, Fire Drill, Elevator: All of these feel longer than the 15 minutes they were given because all of the jokes fell flat.

Robot Chicken-Adoptions An Option: Or the ''Let's jam non-stop retard jokes until we puke!'' episode.

Futurama-The Series Has Landed: As boring as many ''moon-is-made-of cheese'' jokes that were in many cartoons.
 
Fairly Odd Parents The dead pet episode. Not only does Nick overplay it to death, but I find it really gross.

Jimmy Neutron Several episodes whose names I can't recall, because, as stated above, Nick overplays them. Anything that focuses mostly on Jimmy's dad, though, usually makes this list.
 
ben 10-"permanent retirement" it's from season 1.it was interesting.but,it was to corny for my taste.the limax you know the bad guys in said episode,are verycool looking,but their poweer is dumb.the best thing about this episode is the place it took place in.a retirement villace.
 
judy hates "Danny Phantom" as a whole, so I'm sure that was a facetious comment (note the reason). Sorry to rob you of your moment, but there it is.
 
The Simpsons: Principal and the Pauper - There's plenty of other bad Simpsons episodes I've seen over the course of this show's run, but I consider Principal and the Pauper one of the first signs that something was going terribly wrong with the show. It's a plot that ultimately ends up wasting itself in it's own 22 minutes by having Skinner keep his fake name as a way to play on status quo.

Danny Phantom: (tie) Splitting Images/Reality Trip - Actually, there's at least two episodes in Season 3 that are worse off--waaaaaaaaaaaay worst off then these two, but for spoilers sake, I won't say it, so for the time, "SI" which is just so blatantly cynical (even for me) that poor Danny keeps getting chewed out while the main "foe" didn't even get his own comeuppance.

As for "Reality Trip", well, the episode is decent enough for your average action summer flick feel, but it got completely ruined with any lack of Valerie (which considering what the plot was about seems almost illogical NOT to have her) and the deus ex machina/reset option that peeved me off SO greatly. At least the one in "TUE" is justified with the Jazz revealing angle (for me anyways), but this? I expected better from DP.

Digimon Zero Two: The ending (forgot the title name) - This ending just KILLED the second season of Digimon for me, not that Season Two was good to begin with; before, it was a contrived mess of random plots that seem to hang together with a very loose piece of string, but the ending and it's future of the Digidestined gave off a serious "What th--" mode with roles that doesn't even fit most of the characters and came ridiculously out of the blue. It just placed the final nail in the coffin.

Xiaolin Showdown: The Demon Seed - Their enemy is a talking plant...with a french accent. My head exploded.

Avatar: Crossroads of Destiny - Unless the creators have a GOOD reason why Zuko ended up the way he did by Season Three, I am not pleased with the decision he made--not happy.

Fosters: Bloo's Brothers - It's bad enough I have to hear this jerk shove it in people's face that he's going to the Ice Charades over and over when they can't go because they don't have tickets, but even more so when he complains by the end by the time Mac chose the real Bloo out of the fakes. It's any wonder why I dislike him SO immensly.
 
Yeah, you're probably right. I doubt kids notice any of the gaping plot holes that riddle FOP. The loud voices, the bright colors, the repetition of moronic phrases like "It's a planet?" undoubtedly keeps kids' little minds absorbed and distracted. So who cares about the lack of logic and continuity? It's all funny, right? I'm sure that your average 6-year-old viewer of "It's A Wishful Life" got the connection to "It's A Wonderful Life" right away. And the plot twist that Timmy, unlike George Bailey, actually made life WORSE for the people around him no doubt had Nick's coveted 6-11 demographic in stitches over the irony of it all! I'm sure none of those viewers had the slightest problem over the fact that none of it made a lick of sense. Kids don't care about that.

All I can say is, if anyone thinks that's true, then they've never read a bedtime story to a kid and had to deal with the questions before, during and after the story. ;)
 
My least favorite episode of all-time would be Hoop Squad from the series Static Shock. I'm a fan of the show but this episode was a complete mess. Static and Gear were completely out of character. The villain was bland and boring. The attempts at humor were simply not funny. But the worst part was the idea of the Hoop Squad themselves. I don't know if this was a backdoor-pilot for a new series or just a chance for the writers to meet some big-name NBA players but either way, the results were awful. This episode was so bad that it made other episodes that guest-starred Shaq or Lil' Romeo look genius in comparison.
 
It may also compromise the worst two episode pair in the Fairly OddParents. Because of It's a Wonderful Wish. I mean, one of the few times in that season where Timmy tries to do something even remotely and the other characters act like complete jerks to him. And then, they basically make it so that everybody is happier without Timmy in their lives. Even though most of the things weren't his fault in anyway (except the parents one and maybe the Crooker one) Then trying to make it all better with a horrible moral. I could handle some of the stuff in this episode if it was funny. The only okay joke was the one about the Cubs. Also, its the only episode in the last seasons where I actually felt sorry for Timmy.
 
Well, that's just the thing - you're not supposed to like him. The point of Bloo's existence is that he's an immoral, self-centered, uncivilized jerk, and his stories are sprung from everyone else's attempts to put up with him. It's sort of a commentary, in a way - everyone else at Foster's is basically a good person, but Bloo is the representation of the overwhelming amount of jerks in the real world. He's the physical manifestation of the id, the part of the subconscious that thinks only for oneself. At bottom, Bloo is supposed to be an illustration of how many of us wish we could be, even though we know better, and unfortunately, a lot of people don't appreciate the joke when it's directed at them.
 
While I really, really like "Avatar: The Last Airbender" there are two episodes that I just can't get into.

The first one is the aforementioned "Imprisoned". I'm not exactly sure why I don't like it, maybe it's the predictable plot (I just knew the moment earthbending-guy, can't remember his name, rescued that old man, he'd later end up on one of those prisonships) or the generic main villain. Anyway, I didn't like it.

Then there's "Avatar Day". It's not so much the plot that I have a problem with but the whole set-up for it. Guys, if one, tiny Earth Kingdom village wants to burn giant statues of The Avatar let them do not put the fire out and reveal yourself as the target for their hatred. It's not like their little ceremnony going to convince other Earth Kingdom villages to hate Aang (or any of The Avatar's previous incarnations). Luckily for you guys that you have time with this, since your world isn't threatened by a megalomanical dictator about to recieve ultra-phenonemal almost cosmical powers before the end of the summer, right?
 
That would be "Child's Play", the one I nominated.

As a matter of fact, on the subject of Dexter's Lab, I think any episode where the central theme is "Dee-Dee pisses on Dexter from a great height" could qualify for a worst list. I know Dexter doesn't exactly help with his "I am a GENIUS and you are STOOOO-pid" attitude, but there were too many of those eps.
