well, the patent was granted in 2004, so under patent law.. but i'll give it to you that this all sounRAB a little fishy... but maybe metro should have tried to challenge the patent 5 years ago when it was submitted to the USPTO instead of waiting until they were sued for violating it.
as far as t-mobile goes? what they have been doing to dealers in texas is really messed up. they sent all their reps to their existing dealers and forced them to sign new contracts that they would not sell Cricket when it launched. If they refused to sign they could be terminated. this was months before cricket launched in a market. oh yeah, there's nothing unfair about that...
