My response from Leafs TV. They seem to still be referencing Bell channel 848 when it has changed to 871. Typical.
Thank you for your email and your interest in Leafs TV. I appreciate you taking the time to send us your thoughts and questions.
Unfortunately, this season we were unable to make the preseason games available in high definition, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with this decision. Our primary concern was making the 7 pre-season games available to Maple Leaf fans via Leafs TV, as there was not guarantee they would be available to Leafs Nation otherwise. In the end we were only able to do so in standard definition. Please note that your concern has been documented and sent to the appropriate personnel here at Leafs TV.
I think that you will be happy to hear that all 13 regular season games exclusive to Leafs TV will be broadcast in HD. October 13th is the first Leafs TV game of the 08/09 regular season and it will be a High Definition broadcast.
Thanks for being a fan! I hope that you enjoy all the excitement that the 08/09 season will bring to Leafs TV.
