Le Creuset question

In my experience, LC seconds often have a tiny pit in the enamel coating
that is not in an area that comes in contact with the food inside.

My two (15-20 yrs. old) have not developed any further blemishes. I'm
pretty careful about not subjecting the Dutch ovens to abrupt
temperature changes. I.E. I will put a hot stainless kettle in a
sinkful of ice to cool quickly, but not a LC pot.

You might call LC and ask about the possible outcomes but remember you
bought it as a second.

Macy's and Le Creuset couldn't care less about morality... you
obviously know nothing about business; the value of the dollar vs the
value of good will.
