...are others(ex-LDS)who deliberately? distort what they know to be true.Are they to be held to a greater responsibility for their falsehoods in eternity than those who are just ignorant of the facts?

Interesting question. I think those that have a greater light and knowledge will be held to a greater accountability.

D&C 82:3
3 For of him unto whom much is given much is required; and he who sins against the greater light shall receive the greater condemnation.
