LDS/Mormons what was the Cross for if Jesus suffered for your sin's in the garden?

What was the Garden of Eden for if they were to progress by eating the fruit and this cancels out gen. 3:15 where Eve was suppose to crush satan's head through Mary/Jesus on the cross, but can;t now since there never was original sin in your church.
