I joined the military in 2002 in the usmc. In 2004 I went on an LDS mission (2 years in mexico) I was put into the IRR during that time. In 2007 I transfered to the Army reserve for the remainder of my contract (3 years).
I have been told that the LDS mission does not count as IRR time. That I will have to make up thsoe two years in the IRR.
What is the correct answer? I need a regulation or memorandum if available.
