lcd tv screen problem?

when watching my lcd tv I've noticed a dark line like a shadow running down the length of the screen it's not always obvious but can be quite annoying at times there is also another one appearing in top corner of screen. Has anyone had the same experience and know what the remedy is for this
 
thats whats called burn in, it usually happens when u keeep the tv running for a very long time. like over 24 hours straight. it should eventually go away on its own. providing its a good quality brand. ive seen this happen with philips lcds and it always goes away, im not sure the same would be true of el cheapo brands.
