ok so im new to photoshop, i just downloaded a free trial. i am trying to make an gif animation from some pics (i got the pics from a movie using TIPARD DVD RIPPER, i took the captures click by click if that helps) so ppl told me that imageready is now in photoshop or whatever, so i I open photoshop, and then i see the layers thing on the right side and in the bottom, and then i open my first picture, it becomes a locked background on the right side of the layers, and then i unlock it by double clicking it, and then i added new layers from the layers menu and it was named layer 1, and then when i want to open my 2nd pic, it opens and then the background pic dissapears and instead comes layer 0 which is the 2nd pic that i opened. and then when i look above there is like 2 tabs, the 1st one says layer 1 and the 2nd tab is layer 0. ok i dont get this its verrrryyyy confusinggg, i hope i explained it clearly and someone could help me, ask me any questions u have....thankss alott

ok then how do i add a picture in a new layer, i just had layer 0 wit a pic and then i added another layer - layer1, i opened a new pic and the layers 0 and 1 disapeared and the new pic i opened became background again...;(((
