Lawsuit: T-Mo phone unlocking

I sympathize with that, Jonny... I can see Pirates of the Carribean walking in wanting free TV's , pearls and curves . At the other extreme, I have been with T-Mobile since the days of Voicestream, on cell and 'berry alike: there is a number embodying this, the total amount of $$ I've paid T-Mo over the years. And yes, I do expect the company to treat me somewhat better than it does a random walk-in whose number may well be 0.

Even when I enter the store without my scimitar .

How would this work if they get the phone for free by signing up with a new 2-year contract and then turning around and using it with someone else. Then the company that sold them the phone in the first place would be losing out on the amount they are paying monthly while they already ate the extra discount they gave them on the phone for signing a contract.
