Laws for days off when operating a motor vehicle?

My husband installs a service in peoples' homes and so is on the road at least half of his work day. He's been told now that they are not going to have days off and he's on day 16 and they give him work from 8 am to 8 pm so some nights he doesn't get home until around midnight. He's exhausted and I think this is a safety concern, but are there any laws regarding this?
Also, who do I report this to in Missouri if it is a violation of a law?
 
I am not sure about MO, but in NY you have to have so many days off when you work so many days in a row.

I wouldn't complain though, he is probably getting some killer over time. And these days you should take all the money you can get.
