I am parking in the parking lot at a community college, I turned to close. So Im like 1 inch away from the other car. So I try to back up and my wheels are not straightened and I bump the car and cause a big dent. Then I straighten up wrongly and I am 1 centimeter away from the car and scraping it as I back up. I panic and Dont know what to do, So I just go to class. And then during break I see a bunch of cop cars around my car and the victims car. Im so worried, so I continue to go back to class. Then Finally im done with classes for the day, and head to my car. Then im observing the damage that has been done to my car. My 1999 Lexis. Four years old.. In very good condition. I notice the scratch marks on the side of my car and a dent near the back of my car. Then a police car and 2 police vans surround me and ask if thats my car. Then they come out saying, why didnt you report that you hit this car? You made us wait 3 hours to find you. Now your in trouble. So they gave me 2 tickets. One for leaving the scene and not reporting and some other ticket, because i crashed into the car. I have court October 27th. I have to plead guilty and I am going to have a misdemeanor. Which is going to make my insurance go up and I need to pay for the damages.. I am so fked... Also, my license plate expired. So I had my car towed and my friend had to pick me up. My dad is pissed................ Is this misdemeanor going to affect me for college and sht???? I am 18 years old.. And the misdemeanor is for the driving crap.. And also, I might get suspended from college. And I have a test on friday...... This really is my worst day ever..
My questions :
1.Do you think my license could be suspended because of this?
2. Is this really going to cost me alot of money???
3. Is a misdemeanor that i am going to be charged with really that bad? is it going to affect me... much?? When i apply to jobs.. I am so stressed.... I am 18 years old btw..
