In the past, I was highly considering becoming a police officer. However, in April 2008 I was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance (under 1g of cocaine). Being my first offense, I was placed on Illinois' 410 probation, which upon completion (ended Nov 14 of this year) would be admitted as a non-conviction.
Now since I don't have any convictions on my record, (I have a clean driving record with the exception of one speeding ticket) would any PD consider me for employment?
ie. do they put anything else into consideration, like how highly I score on the test, my physical fitness scores, etc.
thanks for the help.
i know they can see it jay. it's kinda like a one and done thing which i assumed it would be. kinda sucks. thanks for the honest answer.
