Law and Grace. Do you follow both?

First off, there were TWO kinds of "laws" when Jesus came to the world. There were those set in by man, to make him feel rightoues and above God's Holy Laws. And there werer those that had, and were still in place (which they Should have been practicing) that were made and put in place by the LORD.

It is said that even the demons also believe in Jesus Christ LORD and tremble, and that we should also learn to "fear" God in the same manner, in fear and trembling.

So, with that being said, what is the difference between a demon believing in Jesus Christ as LORD and when you say that Jesus Christ is LORD. Demons have theirs coming as it is and have already made their decision, but does that mean you have too? Don;t you also believe and have "faith" in Jesus Christ as LORD too?

If you believe that the Commandments are to be followed and yet you don't do them , ALL of them, by acknowledging who you will follow, how is there any difference?

Why do you think that all, or most of, the Commandments in the Old Testament aren't necessary when it is those laws that show us how to be and how to act?

Do you really think that Jesus wouldn't be following those right now if He were here?

How do you notice the difference between a "good" person and one that loves Jesus Christ, especially if you don't know either person? Are there not signs that would help us better tell the difference between the two without having to ask them if they believe Jesus Christ is LORD or not?

How would you know the difference between a nice, "good" person off of the street and a Christian, WITHOUT having to ask them?

Don't they both act good?

You can say it is not for us to judge, and only God knows their heart, we just live day by day as we should. If that is true, why does He say, "Test ALL things to see if they are of God" So? How do you know the difference without physically having to ask those two people, or anyone?

(By their "fruit". Yes, true. But again, I am talking about two people that seem "good". They both help the hungry, feed the poor, help the needy, try to save marriages. But one may believe in "the Buddha" and the other one is Christian?)

So, again, how do YOU know which one is Christian?

James 2:14-25 (King James Version)

14. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

15. If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

16. And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

17. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

18. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

19. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

20. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

21. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

22. Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Luke 6:46-49 (New International Version)

The Wise and Foolish Builders
46"Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? 47I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. 48He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."
