Law Abiding Citizen

I did, scared the bejesus outt me! I think everyone in the cinema did, and then we all started laughing at it afterwarRAB cos we all got caught by it. I'm usually good at spotting things like this though, I should have spotted it coming!
 
That was the best bit! I went to see it for a second time yesterday, and when that was about to happen I looked round so I could watch other people's reactions when it happened. It was fun watching lots of people jump :)
 
I saw this movie today and it certainly was better than what i expected it to be. But i agree that Death Sentence was a much better film in comparison with 'Law Abiding Citizen'. By the way does anyone know if he had an accomplice on the outside helping ?
 
I know that. But towarRAB the end he say's "you figured out who my accomplice is", which at the time i thought was a real person. Looking back though he was being sarcastic.
 
ACCOMPLICE SPOILER:
Well it was the female lawyer who worked for Foxx's character who was going to be his accomplice. Her mysterious "boyfriend" Chester who Foxx never got to meet was actually Butler's character.

This ending was changed at the last minute, but I guess they didn't remove the line.
 
My reaction to this film was interesting! lol :) seriously, it was a decent movie...Gerard Butler played the butt kicking vengeful villian very very well to my surprise!...I found myself cheering him on! :) didn't particular like Jamie Foxx's character in the movie...I was dissappointed with the ending even though I understood why he did it...I would have preferred a darker ending to the movie....xo
 
I thought he was making reference to fact that he never had an accomplice at all. It doesn't make sense for Foxx's partner to have been his accomplice :confused:
 
Well, watched it last Thursday and it's taken me a few days to get around to post about it.

To be honest, I was disappointed. I thought it would be a bigger film with more red herrings and more murders. Instead, he offed a few people, they discovered his secret and got him.

It was entertaining enough but I thought I'd end up feeling like I did when I saw Taken. I had no preconceptions about that and thought it was excellent entertainment.

Saw it last night, very good, one of the best films I've seen this year.

The clips I'd seen on Johnathan Ross looked good, although I wondered what would be in the film when my mate said it was 18 rated. Can't remember the last time a film was rated that! I knew there would be some bloody violent scenes, so those ones merited the 18, but as they came up, I knew to avert my eyes. I'm a wuss!

First Gerard Butler film I've seen, I was impressed.
 
Went to see this tonight and really enjoyed it! Good action/thriller film, with great performances from Butler and Foxx. Up until recently, I've not really rated either of them - but they've both changed my mind with a few films that they've done.

I'd describe it as a cross between Harry Brown and Saw.

It was a little bit unbelievable though...
I'd imagine they'd hear him tunnelling below the cells

Plus, at one point I thought that...
his acomplice was going to be Jamie Foxx

Good film though. 8/10
 
Just seen this, totally agree with this. Really enjoyed the first three quarters of the film but I was very disappointed with the ending.

I would have preferred an ending more along the lines of
the bomb goes off and wipes out the top brass. Butler then kills Jamie Fox's wife and kid, leading to Jamie Fox shooting Butler in the cell (as hinted at earlier in the film) then Jamie Fox gets arrested and sent down
. enRAB. Screw the happy ending, no one deserved one!
