Gets it's UK release on November 27th or now if you are naughty :p

This got royally slated by critics in the US, but it doesn't seem to have affected it's box office performance, which is streadily rising.

It's not a brilliant film
(at least two massive plot holes)
but it's far better than a lot of the rubbish that's been on offer. Should suit Jonathan Ross on his current crusade for "films aimed at adults". It would have been interesting to see what Frank Darabont would have done with it, but he left the project over "creative differences".

Not a fan of Jamie Foxx, and I think he phoned in his performance here and that spoilt things for me.
His character clearly hadn't learnt a thing by the end, in my opinion.

Gerard Butler neeRAB to get back to doing more stuff like this that stretches him as an actor. Law Abiding Citizen is his first effort as a producer too and sounRAB as if it was a huge learning curve for him.

Most of the films he's been in since he went to America have been frankly painful to watch and he neeRAB a new agent. Maybe now he'll wake up and do something about his pretty ridiculous public image and stop feeding it himself, before it swallows him whole.

UK premiere is on 15th November in Glasgow - beware of the screaming fangurls!
