Launcher X Skins

This is probably a simple question, but how do I delete unused Launcher X Skins I have installed previously, or that came with the Lx. They don?t even show up in FileZ.

The few skins I have on my Palm show up under:

LXOS5*********

They all start with the LXOS5 prefix, then contain the name of the skin.

All you need to do is delete the skin, but you should not have that skin active or you may run into a problem with Launcher X not being able to find an "active" skin.

Should have mentioned that one of the files is LXOS5Standard. This may be built in skin but fearing a "reset" I've not tried removingi it.

As I answered in the LauncherXPlanet forum, you can delete any skins using the built-in file manager. Navigate to internal RAM, now search for files that start LSOS5_______ they have a file type of LXSS. You can delete even the 'stock' skins but leave at least one set in. You have to delete the whole set, ie if you delete let's say LXOS5Gant2 you will delete the entire Gant set, {no taps. top. right.left}.

If you uninstalled LX properly, then you wouldn't have any skins left on your handheld now would you?
If you used Uninstall Manager or similar product, I should have removed all skins.
He didn't say he had removed LX already either did he?
If you don't have LX installed anymore, the skins should still show up using FileZ or similar file management application and you should be able to remove them using the file manager.
If your too cheap use Filez or believe it or not, you can use in the built-in palm app launcher, tap the menu silk screen, tap [Delete] from the drop-down menu, now look for the 'Skin' in the LXOS5XXXX format and delete...

Pretty simple right? If not perhaps its time to 'bone-up' on the basic functions of your handheld.

Well there are people out there like me that use filez and fileman etc. program and that would make it not delete all the skins.
You always got to think outside the bun! ;)

Your missing the point, even if you have LX uninstalled, and you do not use uninstall mangager and you are using the FREEWARE Filez you can still delete the skins even with the built in 'Delete' function, I was just telling you the file name format you would look for which would depict an LX skin for you to now manually delete....jeeze...it's really not that complicated....

Accepted and mine to you, just read through the postings thouroughly before commenting, I was just trying to help. I have used LX since it's inception and L3 before that for years so I am familiar with it's capabilities and functions.
