Late Show with David Letterman (Part 2)

I see CBS is re-branding the old "zone" channels with their name.

Any hope of them showing Letterman? not like anyone else has bought it.

Oh dear.

Breaking news on US CNN. David Letterman is involved in a 2 million dollar extortion plot. He has had sex with female staffers and they want to reveal names. He admits to the affairs and testified. I want to think that this is a joke for his show but it seems it is true.

I'd have to see the interview again, but I have a recollection that Dave introduced the topic by saying something like "tell us about meeting this terrorist, what was that like?" - so if Dave described him as a terrorist and he wasn't, then in a very loose way I guess he could be liable.

Very shaky ground though, legally. In effect, you could then sue everyone who's seen the film and talked to their frienRAB about it ("what did you think of the part where Bruno interviews the terrorist?" etc).

I'd imagine the studio will pay him off anyway - there was a load of lawsuits being threatened over the Borat film, and I can't remember any of them making it to court.

this one's good:

Dave: "you know Chrysler are having a recall, err, yeah, i recall Chrysler - didn't they used to make cars?"

also. there must be more chat about Jay in the last two weeks than in the last 16 years
