Late Show with David Letterman (Part 2)

Some great guests this week - Bruce Willis is always hilarious (what wig will he be wearing this time?) and Sarah Silverman should be good. A top 10 with Paris should be interesting too!

The 2 lawyers from both sides in Daves extortion case were on the Larry King show on CNN this morning going at it head-to-head cos apparently that CBS producer wants to drop the case, but I think its gone too far now for that to happen!!!!!

Same here, I'm praying for a week (or a MONTH!) of reruns so I can get up to date.
I'm on August 18th but have put 'em all on disc and jumped forward to last week so I'm up to date with "events".

Watching the BIG Show is a FULL time job sometimes:cool:

Remember though that Friday's shows are always recorded on a Monday, so that show will have been before Dave 'confessed' anything.

I'd imagine that next week's monologues will be full of self-deprecating jokes. Talking of next week, here's the guests, including Paul as a guest, plugging his new book! Dr Who fans may recognise Carey Mulligan as well who played Sally Sparrow in the episode 'Blink' :

That Geico song Somebody's Always Watching Me was a hit in the 80s for a soul/funk singer called Rockwell with Michael Jackson on background vocals!! Rockwell was actually a cousin of Jacko!!!!! It is one of the greatest one-hit-wonders of all time!!!!

There!! A bit of useless 80s music trivia for ya!!!!:D:D:D:D

Just finished 'I'm dying up here' by Bill Knoedelseder. as talked about here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hyr6LqBkNQM

read it, please.

a couple of interesting points:
Just before Letterman goes out to perform his first go at guest hosting the Tonight Show, Tom Snyder turns to Tom Dreesen 'man, i wanna see how the audience reacts to this no-name'.....pfft NICE considering Letterman gave him a job....

and as we probably already know there's a bit that says 'If Letterman and Leno have spoken since [leaving the Comedy Store] their frienRAB don't know about it' ahhahahaha.
