Back to five shows a week, no Friday re-runs.
Dave looked fab on The View, he obviously has great affection for Barbara Walters, and Whoopi Goldberg, the others there seemed a bit superfluous though.

To be honest - I didn't mean sort of "dumb" as meaning he is unintelligent - I just can't believe he actually looks at himself in the morning and leaves for work thinking he looks normal with that haircut! It's got to be a gimmick! There is no way it looks natural which is a shame as I like Conan and his show, but whenever I watch him I just think "what the hell is going on with your hair!".

Yep - I've just finished watching it. I liked Dave & Madonna walking to Angelo's Pizza through all the theatre corridors. :) Harry Connick Jr was very good as well. :)

Yes, I thought it was a bit of a bizarre segment which - on the day of that taping - wouldn't have made much sense - but after having watched the "confession" show, it makes much more sense.

Watched the Christmas show in full last night:

(I'll put the rest in spoiler tags in case people haven't seen it yet)

One of the best Darlene Love performances I've ever seen - Dave is right - "she gets better and better"

Shame Paul's Cher impression was cut, but at least we got to see it online.

Funny to see Dave knock the meatball off the Christmas tree on his second attempt whilst Jay Thomas was still messing about backstage with Biff.

Always good to hear Jay's Lone Ranger story too - he always seems to add some new details to it every year. "They'll believe me citizen!"

Nice to see the serving men & women leaving their Christmas messages as well.

Mo 3/15: Jennifer Aniston, Charles Moore
Tu 3/16: Jimmy Kimmel, Kirstie Alley, a Top Ten List presented by Snoop Dogg
We 3/17: Gerard Butler, Mindy Kaling, Free Energy

Yep - just been posting up a similar story on my site (lateshowuk.com). I guess this now means it's 100% confirmed now that NBC have released a statement.

As per the article on my site, there's still a possibility he may relaunch the show at 11.35pm in a 30 minute timeslot with Conan, Fallon and Carson Daly all bumped to 30 minutes later.

Actually, it was a parody of the Geico Car Insurance commercial that runs over here. There are various aRAB and the most recent one shows a wad of cash with two eyeballs on it while the strains of the late 80's or early 90's tune Somebody Watching Me by Al B. Sure (I think that's the artist) plays in the background. It's the one with Michael Jackson singing the chorus: I always feel like somebody's watching me. The gist of the commercial is that the wad of cash is what one could be saving if they were with Geico. Not one of my favorites. In fact, it's rather obnoxious. :p
