Late Show with David Letterman (Part 2)

CBS Reality will be on Virgin Media TV as it's just replacing the existing Zone Reality channel that Virgin customers already get.

Whether or not Dave will be on CBS Reality remains to be seen.

Don't bother downloading/watching Fridays show with Jennifer Anniston as its a repeat from a few months ago. Wonder why they didn't flag it as being a repeat.

Poor Dave - as well as this extortion attempt, he's had someone stalking him in the past.

I was a bit worried when he mentions that he hopes he can secure his job at the Late Show after this - I hope CBS does the right thing and keeps him. He admitted he had relationships with his staff but he seems sorry about it.

I'm a bit curious how the guy thought he was going to cash a $2million cheque - surely you couldn't just walk into a bank with that.

Yeh ... that interview did seem a little (in the worRAB of Lyle the Intern) "awkwaaarrrd" ... !

You've still got quite a bit of catching up to do there. I managed to get a few marathon
viewing sessions of the Late Show, and the final few weeks of Conan's Tonight Show,
during a recent week off. I'm now up to the 16th March Late Show episode. Only a
few more to go, and I'll finally be completely up to date at long last!

I even managed to see Jay Leno's first week back hosting the Tonight Show recently.
Although Leno's version of the Tonight Show isn't really any different to how it was
before Conan took over (apart from the set) it isn't entirely bad, but I doubt I'll be
watching much more, in case I end up losing track of the Late Show again!

I think a thread can only take so many posts, then they have to split it into another one. So well done everyone - pretty impressive that a show that's not even shown on UK TV can attract such a large thread!

I loved the 4am episode. Amy Sedaris did a live segment showing us round her neighbourhood in Greenwich Village. I love Amy.

Anyone watched the Obama episode yet? Excellent interview from Dave, one of the best I've seen him do - nice mixture of seriousness and comedy and Obama came across incredibly well. Enjoyed the heart shaped potato too!

Line of the night: "It's important to remember that I was black before the election"!

EDIT: Yes, I see everyone has seen the Obama episode, and discussed it on the first thread! Sorry!

I have to tell you this story! One of my frienRAB at work is a Dave fan or should I say was a Dave fan!

He is unhappy at recent revelations regarding Dave's personal life and alleged affairs with staff members. His theory is that now when you look back at Dave's career and how he acts towarRAB women, especially on his show, he really does appear to be somewhat "creepy!" where as before the revelations came out, you just thought he was being well....good old innocent Dave.

For example when Dave used to look at prettier members of the audience and joke to Paul "look Paul, the girls are here!" and other statements he would come out with like "I'm old - I'll get it anyway I can!" all just look mega-cringey now!

He is also highly suspicious of why Dave keeps the Ed Sullivan Theatre sooooo cold......!!!!

I was just wandering if any other Dave fans felt the same way. Me myself am not too bothered but I can see there being many out there who really do think that Dave is now coming across as a bit of a creep and that he's just been fooling the American public for the last 20 odd years with his antics.

By the way - Conan O'Brien - is he really that dumb he can't work out he has a lame haircut?! I'm sure NBC designed that haircut as some sort of gimmick - it must take him ages to get his hair that high everyday! LOL!!!
