Late Show with David Letterman (Part 2)

At the risk of being seen to criticise the BIG man, I still haven't got my head around Leno being in the EST!.
Surely, we all prefer Dave to be laying into his rivals and not making peace with them.
Ever since Oprah bowed to the inevitable, we've not heard a word against her.
Surely a man of Lettermans intelligence can't TRULY believe that Oprahs innane, OK magazine style, chit-chat with so-called "celebrities" is anything more than mindless, fawning mediocrity?
Maybe CBS/NBC should give ME a show-I've got an opinion about everything (and it's usually negative!)

Really? I think Leno (and his agent) come off quite bad in the film while Letterman is the one being shafted by NBC.

Funny how history repeats itself....... ;)

Looks like it's a Friday thing with shows not being uploaded, this weeks show with David Beckham not available yet.

I'm thinking about relaunching my website's much forgotten Facebook group this week. It's hardly ever used and I haven't been posting things to it.

Is anyone interested in helping out with posts on it? Things like guest info, Letterman news, etc?

there was a Tony Mendez show recorded back stage (in the offices) when they were prepping the 4am show.

I think letterman's opening line was 'this is an experiment in sleep and comedy deprivation'

or something. people in the audiance were wearing dressing gowns and sleep wear for the show...looked quite cool.

just listening to LBC 97.3 radio and they were discussing lettermans thingy
and they agree that there was nothing wrong with it, they say its nothing to do with anyone else really etc.
apparently having 'flings' with your collegues is nothing to be so hyped up about!
personally i dont care, i watch letterman for his humour and intervies and guests etc. and i think this story will do well for his ratings!

Think I'm in the minority here as I really don't get Rickles! Sure, he's a showbusiness legend and all that, but I find his appearances with Dave a bit painful for some reason.

Can't wait for Gary Shandling or Tina Fey though!
