late period negative pregnancy test?

Ok, so I stopped taking my birth control pills and had a withdrawal bleed right after i finished the pack like normal. Then i experienced what was a normal period about 30 days after the withdrawal bleed quit and if i calculate another thirty days i am about ten days late for my next period...i took a test this morning and it said negative should i see the doctor or could the period be late because i was on the pill for two years..thanks!
 
theres nuthing to worry about its just the pills this happed to me to but just to put youself at ezz i would go to the doctor.
