Latches on bags on Ultra

I have a 2008 Ultra and have a problem with a latch on the cover of the bags. While she was being detailed today the stainless clip thats mounted on the lid fell off. When I looked at it it has 2 holes in the clip but not the lid the clip is just on with gray tape. I checked the rest of the clips and none of them have rivets or bolts. My question is are they supposed to be be mounted with rivets or bolts or just stuck together. Also she is off warranty but if they forgot the mounting hardware should I try to get the dealer to fix it. Thanks

I had the same thing happen to one of my latches. It was stuck on there with some kind of tape or glue. I put it back on with rivets and put rivets in the other bag as well. Have not had any more problems.
