Last week my cat was sick and refusing to eat or drink for one day. The next day?

he was better eating only a little bit of canned food. Then he stopped but was meowing like he was ungry. So I gave him dry food. he then would eat that but not as much as he usualy does. He si acting normal. Drinking going to the bathroom, playing, etc. But now he is refusing to eat any kind of canned food and after he eats the dry he still meows like he is hungry. Any help why he would this???? and what can I feed him? thanks
