The Avalanches have actually had like 100 plays this week. I've put the CD on everyday. And yeah Archers of Loaf are great.

No idea what you're doing then, because that one doesnt have '* Plays' in brackets like what you have pasted into this thread, it just has a nuraber after the artist.

Like to me a lot of people use it just to show off how obscure and avant-garde their music taste is compared to everyone else out there.

Like i'm chill if you want to use it to find people with similar tastes, and discuss and expand with them, but the idea of just using it to show off what music you listen to is just pretentious to me.

I like adding thoughts about our top weekly artists. But I also enjoyed Jackhammer's "your weekly music" thread where we talk about our new discoveries for the week. I've actually meant to update that thread these last few weeks but keep putting it off because I have to create YouTube viRAB to include. I've actually done a few today and may post this evening. But...the two can coexist since our top weekly artists aren't always (probably usually not) new discoveries. So why am I going on with this blabbing? I don't know.

Clues: Haven't really digested it yet. The first song is really great but i think the album itselfs going to need a bit more work. Pleasant enough though!

Drive Like Jehu: Only listened to Yank Crime once so far but i can tell i'm going to love it. Heavy and complicated, it's like a rockier Sonic Youth which is always a good thing!
