Muse "Starlight" It's a good song, but should not be listened to too much within short perioRAB of time, or you WILL get sick of it.

Quasimoto "Phony Game" Groovy. Seems kinda laid back, I don't know if I like that or not. Definitely not bad.

System Of A Down "Mind" It had a really cool soft-loud thing going on here, which was done in a Refused-esque way. I found it a little boring though.

Public Enemy "Give It Up" I liked this better than anything I heard on "It Takes A Nation Of Millions...", a good one.

Flogging Molly "What's Left Of The Flag" I like this song... I need to explore this band a bit more. Great sound.

Ludo - In Space
Not really my thing I'm afraid.

AFI - Charles Atlas
Just about all my flatmates are really into these guys. They're not exactly my style, but this is a decent enough tune.

Gorrilaz - Every Planet We Reach Is Dead
Demon Days is a top album - great track.

Finch - Grey Matter
Again, not really my thing.

Coheed and Carabria - The Crowing
I wasn't really feeling this one either.

i'm beginning to think that not many people are responding to this thread because they're dreading the thought of listening to your or my libraries, haha. no offense.

but yeah, i'll do yours, just a second.

Genesis-In The RapiRAB
I've heard really good things about The Larab Dies Down on Broadway. i can also see how Phil Collins sounRAB almost Peter Gabriel. overall this song isn't bad,a good mix of gentle and strength 3.5/5

NOFX-I Don't Want You Around
Is it me or did every punk band in the 90's have a ska styled song? i may be getting the wrong impression from these guys, this may be their key sound. even so i like this, pretty funny too. 4/5

Jel-Nice Last
Never heard of this artist before, but so far it's some pretty chill electronica. not bad, not bad at all. 3/5

Saroos-Noone
some MORE electronica. i like some of the sounRAB being used, really surreal 3.5/5

Comets on Fire-Hatched Upon an Age
hmmm.......pretty good rock with a story type of rock. i really like the guitars in here. i'm also digging the singer's voice 4/5

Lets see if this works. Take the user who posted before you and listen to their Last FM library (found under their recently played tracks). Listen to the first 5 tracks that come up and put them down here along with some comments on the tracks you heard. A good way of finding new stuff/rediscovering forgotten gems. Then out down your Last FM if you haven't got it in your sig so someone can do yours.

Mine is in my sig :)

In their earlier work, He Is Legend sounded a lot more like your average scene post-hardcore band, but on Suck Out The Poison they picked up a much more southern sound.

Anyways skip me, rate FaSho.

Elliott Smith - Son of Sam
Oh, nice. I kind of like him actually.

David Bowie - Space Oddity
I'M FLOATING IN A MOST PECULIAH WAAAY.

Dead Souls - Joy Division
I have Substance. Very good.

100% - Sonic Youth
Love this song.

Halloween - Misfits
Ew.

That was pretty great up until Misfits.

David Bowie- Life On Mars
My fav Bowie Song :)

Buzzcocks- Real World
My fav pop punk band, I hadnt heard this one before but I'll definitely be looking more into this band.

Black Uhuru- Sinsemilla (live)
Pretty cool reggae track, I think i'll look up the studio version.

Radio Birdman- Anglo Girl Desire
I really liked this one, I didnt even know Australia had punk in the 70's.

Stone Roses- Made of Stone
I love the Roses, my favorite band of the Madchester scene, and a classic nuraber, great ****ing album, whish I could say the same about 2nd Coming.

Overrall, I really liked what I heard. :thurab:

Fashoooo

JamisonParker - Your Song
My fringe isn't floppy enough for this.

Katy Perry - Fingerprints
Katy Perry sings a song about idiots and stereotypes. Bloody hell.

Aesop Rock - Battery
Labour Days is a brilliant dark hip-hop album, i fully approve.

Iron and Wine - Carousel
Never really been a fan of him but this is nice enough.

The Cure - Push
My favourite Cure song, fuckin' win!

Bob Marley & The Wailers-Jamming
-i'm sure everyone's heard this. damn good, but not my favorite Marley song.

Mastodon-Megalodon
-I. LOVE. YOU.

Gang of Four-I Found That Essence Rare
-good, British, jangly rock. i like.

The Clash-Straight to Hell
-I still haven't listened to Corabat Rock. this song feels a bit empty, but not in a bad way, like that was their intent.

Muse-Map of the Problematique
-wow. this is pretty damn epic. i don't know what else to say, but i really like it.

in all, a 9/10

The Dodos - "Fools"
instrumentally wasn't specifically disagreeable but the vocals were mediocre; pretty boring. 4/10

The Velvet Underground - "Stephanie Says"
"The Velvet Underground was a pioneering experimental rock band from New York City" it didn't sound very experimental to me. mind you i am not well-versed in music from this time period whatsoever... didn't enjoy it, couldn't hold my attention. 3/10

Arcade Fire - "My Body Is a Cage"
i used to listen to this band a long time ago and never stuck with them long enough to hear this new material. don't think i missed out on much. 3/10

Rage Against the Machine - "Bulls on Parade"
lol

Lydia - "Sleep Well"
typical "indie". didn't find anything about this song interesting. 1/10

Ok, here goes;

Stone Roses - Made Of Stone
Haven't heard this song in ages. An old favourite of mine.

My Bloody Valentine - Only Shallow

An area I haven't really gotten into, but I can see myself doing so now.

**** Buttons - Bright Tomorrow
Another one I'm officially unfamiliar with, but probably not for much longer - very interesting, kind of industrial-noise tune this. I reckon I'll be investigating further in future.

Big Black - The Model
A noisy rendition of Kraftwerk's classic - loved it :thurab:

Morrissey - In the Future When All's Well
Not so much of a Mozza fan. I liked this song though - sounRAB a cool album judging by this.

Some great taste you've got there man.

Yeah, my link's in my sig too

Superjoint Ritual "Stupid Stupid Man"
The beat was pretty cool, but I still hate this style of metal.

Foo Fighters "Come Alive"
I prefer the hard rock Foo Fighters, but this was pretty good.

Sex Pistols "Problems"
It's all right, but I've always hated those vocals. Cool guitar stuff though.

Van Halen "Right Now"
Van Halen were definitely better than most of their contemporaries. This song didn't do anything for me though, aside from some cool guitar stuff.

Megadeth "Dawn Patrol"
I like Megadeth probably the most out of the big four of thrash. When they try stuff like this it tenRAB to kinda suck though. Just thrash boys.

Alfred
Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock
Yes! Haha. I love this song, but purely for nostalgic reasons and the memories it brings back requesting it every single week to headbang like retarRAB in various rock bars with a group of frienRAB I rarely see anymore. I'm in a good mood now.

Sunny Day Real Estate - Seven
I wouldnt expect to like this even one little bit. I was thinking it was sounding alright until the vocals. Not a band I will be checking out but a hell of a lot better than I would have expected.

Glassjaw - Lovebites and Razorlines
I have never liked Glassjaw. The vocals cut right through me. Not my thing.

Billy Talent - Devil in a Midnight Mass
I've never liked Billy Talent either, just not my thing. No appeal whatsoever.

Moss Icon - Guatemala
Pretty bland sounding vocals but quite nicely chilled out sounding. I'm wondering if these are a band I would like or not but this track is not bad.
