This makes me very sad, anyone else in the same boat? That said I don't think this series has been quite upto the standard of the previous two so far so maybe they're doing the right thing by calling it a day now.

whats worse is i watched all the eps back again the other night so now i wont be able to watch the old eps with them being fresh in my mind again.

i should have waited till tonights was over then start a rewatch.

still have the movie to look forward to though

Pathetically short season as usual, this is why I try to stay away from new UK comedies.

But most British comedies, not just new ones, are 6 episodes per series. It's not a new thing.

Aye Fawlty Towers, The Young Ones, Black Books, Blackadder, Alan Partridge, Bottom; just a few off the top of my head. It's been the norm for a very long time.

It doesn't bother me to be honest, as long as those six eps are of high quality.

Yes, I do think it's come to a gradual end. What with the next step being University for the boys; which wouldn't work as a show.

This series has been nowhere near as good as the previous 2.

4/5 Episodes didn't even make me laugh when a couple of years ago i was laughing from start to finish.

Hope the last ep tonight is good.

True. I agree - otherwise i'd of rememberd to watch it more this Series'. Last night's was total drivel with not much logic for me and basicaly a total "out and out farce" with no direction at all ....

Well not even calling it a "farce'" would do it any justice regars last night's episode even :yawn:
