I basically looked for a topic of this but nobody made it, so I decided to make a topic of it. Long story short, Ralph Bakshi is doing a new movie but it seems to be in limbo. the story is about a NYPD detective, the prostitute he alternately loves and arrests and the seedy characters that haunt the streets of New York City's run down amusement district.

As far as I know some people have given up on the movie ever being released, but maybe if El Superbeasto is proven successful we might see this happen.
 
Sounds cool. It's a shame that Bashki hasn't really done anything major since Spicy City. I sure wouldn't mind seeing Coney Island and Astro Land in animation.
