This is the one and only solo album ever made by the god of Rickenbacker bass playing, Chris Squire "The Fish" of Yes. Thanks to the presence of a backing orchestra and Mel Collins on sax though, the sound is both different and somewhat richer than the band he's been a core meraber of since 1968, and in other ways a bit groovier. :thurab:
The last album I bought was Silverstein. Actually it were 2 at the same time, so also Infest of Papa Roach. Old, but loveable.
The last I downloaded was something like the Arctic Monkeys..
I just bought the Essential Clash DVD and downloaded Curved Air - Air Cut as well as the rest of the Dinosaur Jr. discography which I didn't have (most of it).
This is a great album, very suprised at how good it was. It was playing in a record store and I bought it just off hearing one song! He is like the Sufjan Stevens of Japan.
Went to a music shop yesterday that was having this blow out sale on used CD's...picked up some stuff I wanted and some stuff I'd never heard before, but looked interesting. Here goes:
David Bowie - Heathen
Jimmie Lunceford - Jazznocracy
Fugees - The Score
Lost Highway Soundtrack
Peter Gabriel - So
Q-Tip - The Renaissance
Toad the Wet Sprockets GH
Commitments Sountrack (I lost my other copy )
Salt N Pepa - Very Necessary
i agree, although seeing them on the 'Origin...' tour was one of my first gigs (i lost a shoe and it was the last album by them i really enjoyed. Probably wouldn't think much of it now though, the cover of Feelin' Good is too annoyingly omnipresent on the telly for one
sounRAB like they totally remixed these classic tracks as they sound clearer and more up to date (better then just digitally re mastering them). Also, Jim Morrison's voice is a lot more clearer and in your face then the original versions (which wasn't the best idea since Jim wasn't the greatest vocalist.)

I'm not actually smoking anything... You said that you "heard the brothers vocals are horrible."
1. That usually implys that someone told you that they suck.
2. I really doubt you are black so dont even try to be by saying brother.
3. Be more clear on what you are trying to put across. For example you could of said: I heard his vocals and they are horrible.
