Ha ha,,,that's a great haul Seltzer,,,I've got all of those albums except the Allman Brothers one. I really love the Richter version of Liszt's piano concerto's even though it was recorded before I was born. It's so neat to see LP's still circulating in the music world,,,I still miss the beautiful full size album covers.

MARS - Complete Recordings
Bush Tetras - Boom in the Night
Love - Forever Changes

I'm on a No Wave kick. Man. No Wave is ****ING amazing.

I downloaded probably the most weirdest music ever... a band called 'Butt', the album called "Horse". I don't even wan't to get into it. It's something you have to hear yourself.

Well, I'm very strange compared to most The Mars Volta fans. I actually consider Amputechture their best; I've only met one other person who agrees.

I just found Octahedron boring, it seemed to me like they're getting lazy or something. I know they wanted to go for something different and less crazy, but I don't think they pulled it off well.

However, to be completely honest I've only gotten to give Octahedron a single listen, so my opinion may change. I've been sick recently and at the moment I'm actually at Disney World, so I've gotten a lot less listening time than I normally do. I'll give you a more informed opinion when I can.

EDIT: I'm giving it a second listen right this moment actually.

I like it, and I can tell that its a real grower, and after enough listens I'll probably LOVE it, thing is alot of the other albums I got are much more immediate, so I've been listening to Deerhunter and Can over and over again. It'll take at least a month for me to fully erabrace it.

Although I'm seeing them live on thursday, and I'm sure that will help with my appreciation of it.

It's a compilation album, so i'm sure youve probably heard the songs before.

Rescue
The Puppet
Do It Clean
A Promise
The Back of Love
The Cutter
Never Stop
The Killing Moon
Silver
Seven Seas
Bring On the Dancing Horses

But yeh, it's a good one. I'd recommend it to anyone new to Echo & the Bunnymen.

Well, I've been on a New Wave and Arabient crunch recently....
