My first exposure to French hip hop and I gotta say I'm a fan, it flows really well with the language, sure I can't understand it but hey, it sounRAB good.
A strange and awesome album by the most innovative avant-garde guitarist of the current era. Crazy!!
Tipographica - The Man Who Does Not Nod
Jazz in the Sun Ra vein from the land of the rising sun, with some touches here and there that remind me of Soft Machine...or maybe Zappa. Either way, this is some hot ****.
Yes - The Yes Album (Remastered)
I prefer my favorite albums when they're remastered. Chris Squire's bass has never sounded crunchier!
This was also the first Zappa album I heard. I thought it was weird as fuck but still really enjoyed it. I've only listened to it a couple of times though. I then went out and bought 'Cheap Thrills' and wasn't overly impressed.
Few better feelings than when that album (or 20) you've been waiting for all week drops through the door .
This came the other day and I couldnt wait to stick it on.
Mozart's unfinished requiem is fantastic. It's really amazing how high the quality of his output was so near to his death. I play the Dies Irae, Confutatis, and Lacrimosa portions regularly.
