Both very good albums. Not quite their best, but definitely not to be overlooked either.

Spent the last few hours ripping 30 cRAB, mainly soul at the moment. Here are a few choice highlights:

A ton of Marvin G4ye, Otis Redding and Sam Cooke as well as several Philip Glass CRAB, which I couldnt believe I hadn't done already.

it does fall off a bit but there's definitely good material all the way through. i'm just stunned that they were able to produce such a thick album so quickly. supposedly written and recorded in two weeks and under $1200 total studio bill. the Fogerty covers do get to be old hat after a while but i won't complain about them writing only forty or so songs for the album.

and wasn't this part of your 100, Urban? :p:

Very very good. Debut will definatley be getting a lot more listens. She sounRAB a lot like one of my favorite female vocalists, Missy Higgins, if you really liked Bjork I definatley reccomend her.

Hah. Thats actually the one Im pissed off about. . .
A friend copied the album for me like, a week ago, cause I'd ordered it about 3weeks ago and nothing had turned up. NOW its here, and I already have it. . .

I actually bought Radiohead's In Rainbows a second time, but I purchased the vinyl! I'm sure the majority of people reading this own In Rainbows, but if you don't, it is nothing short of musical genius and innovation. Like every album, I had my favorites, but EVERY song on this album is amazing!
