I've heard of them and I've seen a couple interviews with them but I keep forgetting to check them out. Do you really think their similar though? Black Tarabourine are more twee and Vivian Girls keep referring to themselves as a punk band.

Grindcore doesn't have guitar solos & rubbish lyrics about rotting corpses & the like.

Well the banRAB I like don't , but thats only a small handful of the original 80s movement.

Awesome - one of the greatest albums ever.

Awesome - do you have Mother's Milk?

I've heard this album is pretty good. I wanted to get it because MMGuide had it down as neo-psychedelia, and I'm a fan of psychedelic rock.

I almost have their discography now, just need "Strange Journey: Volume 1"

The tide and its takers... the latest 36 crazyfists cd... i ****ing love it... its epic for me....
i had no idea who they were till like june of 08 when i went to see them live with walls of jericho and id have to say they are brutal live...
not like hxc brutal but they speak and i hear and take it to heart soul and mind... they are my new favorite...

I bought the newest larab of god cd and i have to say i was disapointed it was nothing that i thought it was gonna be. it was okay but it wasn't classic larab of god...
im still deciding if i like it or not...
hmm not to sure yet

I didn't like Approaching Normal the first time I listened to it, but it's slowly grown on me. Give it a few more spins would be my advice.

I just picked up some things by George Harrison, Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Wintersleep. I'm out of town at the moment and they're on vinyl so I won't be able to listen to them until I get home in a couple days :(

Because there's more interesting stuff out there than Nick Drake TBH, and so I've been busy. Until now I've heard his stuff off and again sometimes, but it wasn't until recently that I decided I wanted him on my 'Pod. :tramp:

If you've heard the single "I Don't Care", i's the worst track on the album IMO. I'm really like FOB's frst 3 albums, and Infinity on High was ehh. It falls in the middle overall.
