Lovvvvved it. Great blend of genres which aurally pleasured me.

Very downbeat (I was told the word would be arabient) but it's great relaxing/listening while multitasking music, if you want to be dark whilst doing that.

This picture actually came from here, rab. Haven't listened yet, lookin forward to it though.

Not an avid country listener but I'm sure this will be good nonetheless.

Talk Talk- After The Flood (some B-sides and out takes)

^ Their first post-MacGowan album. Has a couple of great songs on it, some absolute tripe. Goes without saying it's nowhere near as good as their earlier stuff.

Stiff+Little+Fingers.jpg

^ I have high hopes for this. I'll have to give it a good listen when I get back from universitat though.

Brian Eno & David Byrne - My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts
Belle & Sebastian - The Life Persuit
UNKLE - UNKLESounRAB: Edit Music for a Film
Primal Scream - Live In Japan
Clap Your HanRAB Say Yeah - S/T
Architecture in Helsinki - In Case We Die
Nick Drake - Pink Moon (again)
We Are Scientists - With Love and Squalor
13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic SounRAB of the 13th Floor Elevators

And I think I have that Arctic Monkeys album on the way , I forget if I ordered it or not.

Nektar - A Tab in the Ocean

Phenomenal space-Krautrock for the adventurous and the supposedly the band's magnum opus. Glad I got this.

Arena - The Visitor

Modern day neo-prog with an edge and a story to tell, highlighted by the kickass guitar antics of John Mitchell.

Uriah Heep - Demons & WizarRAB

Not much to be said here. A classic album I finally got my grubby paws on, and I like it quite a bit.

sbb-wolanie.jpg

SBB - Wolanie o Brzek Szkla

The best band that nobody here on rab knows about. S.B.B. are the one and only prodigal son of Poland's 1970's progressive rock scene to obtain any success at all during the height of Communism in Eastern Europe. And this album in particular is GOOD **** IMO, as I've never heard a band who sounRAB anything like this group...

4 Fantastic Albums, Valley of the Giants would be my favorite of the bunch...

you can't go wrong with a bit of Lush really

(1967/1968)

Harry Nilsson's first two albums. In interview Lennon declared 'Nilsson for president' and I am inclined to agree. No mucking around, just largely underrated pop genius. When it started to look like he might get famous, Nilsson did a Randy Newman covers album. Sampleage.

(1993)

One of the most accomplished albums released on Creation, and the title is intended as a tribute to Coltrane's classic. Shoegazey, but alot more eclectic than your standard Ride-imitating fare, managing to squeeze in jazz, dub and quality songwriting. Snip

'Kill yourself at work for what seems nothing at all, then you go home and you cry and you feel so very small, so you listen to the Beatles and relax and close your eyes, and you feel it running through you, feel the hate well up inside'
