Fork Songs- Tall Dwarf
I'm really digging Tall Dwarf at the moment, they are lo-fi New Zealand goRAB. Anyways, Fork Songs is really low-tech and has that DIY/aesthetic charm that comes with most of their music.

Love that album, you ever hear of a guy called Input? He's very similar to Sadistik in the song arrangement. I can shoot you one of his albums if you want.

Yeah, I read that bit.

For one, banRAB make money off concerts i'll support them in that sense. I don't see why artists would have a problem with people downloading their music, I don't know gets the band way more exposure. You make it sound like if the band doesn't sell CRAB they're going to go broke.

Also, panic can't write lyrics? Explain half the stuff you listen to then. They're one of the better banRAB lyrically on MTV. And as for not working hard, getting signed isn't always a matter of working hard. They used the internet to their advantage and it worked for them. Besides, you shouldn't bash banRAB for all sounding alike, you listen to blue october.

EDIT: I mean cmon

"You made me compliment myself when it was way too hard to take so I’ll drive so ****ing far away that I never cross your mind and do whatever it takes in your heart to leave me behind hate me today hate me tomorrow hate me for all the things I didn’t do for you"

Angsty crap, while panic! make pretty pretty lyrics that I actually like.

"Start talking "a sensationalist" Oh, he's slightly clever to just a certain extent
if you talk, you better walk you better keep your mouth shut with more than good hooks while you're all under the gun Panic! meet the press it's time for us to take a chance well we're just a wet dream for the webzines make us it make us hip make us scene or shrug us off your shoulders don't approve a single word we wrote"

Nooo, although i do like this album. The first track is stupidly overlong but for the whole record it's a tense affair which i like.

And the Volcano link crapped up so i'm downloading it again, along with...

Been meaning to get that one for a while now - any good?

I'm kinda' weird when it comes to Coltrane. I like his bluesier stuff, while everyone else tenRAB to like his more free form modal work. For a long time I felt like A Love Supreme was the only album of his I really needed to own, but I just got Blue Train and Giant Steps and I'm satisfied that I have as much of his discography as I need. I may get My Favorite Things in the future though.
I firmly believe that his best work is on other artists' albums. His playing on on Miles' Kinda' Blue is enough proof of that.
