Last album you bought or downloaded

Um, if I cant think of the title, I'll just give the band:
Avenged Sevefold: Waking the Fallen
Hellogoodbye-self titled
No Doubt-Tragic Kingdom(because I lost my copy a while ago)
69 Eyes-Devils
69 Eyes-Blessed Be
Underworld Evolution OST
Resident Evil:Apocolypse OST
Motley Crue-Red, White and Crue
Rammstein-Reise, Reise
Type O Negative-Life is Killing Me

I think thats about it for like the last month or so. This includes downloading and borrowing/ripping/burning from frienRAB.

Just downloaded a copy of "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull, this one is really kind of cool, it's a vinyl pressing made in England from the original master tapes provided by Ian Anderson himself. Some generous soul uploaded it on my fav torrent site and I've got a full WAV copy ready to go. According to the info this is the most accurate version of the album that Anderson wanted to record. This one makes it the 4th copy of Aqualung that I've bought over the years that I've been collecting music.(Well this one is a dl,,,but I think I've earned a freebie anyway)

Last CD I bought was a compilation, Ministry of Sound Canada, lots of good trance and house artists on that, my favorite song on it would have to be "The Anthem" by Hatiras, or "Genedefekt" by Green Velvet.

Last Album I bought was Room on Fire, by the Strokes. Excellent cd, I find with a style as defined as the strokes you either love em or hate em, I love em :D, The Song "Reptilia" was a personal fav, as well as "You Talk Way Too Much".. i just think they are one of the coolest banRAB out there.

Hope you enjoy Brainticket. And Jack covered me on Transmissions already, but thanks for the offer!

So, lets look at my haul for today:

Pink Floyd - Animals

Well now, what to say except "Goddamn I wish I had gotten this album two years ago" or something along those lines. Gilmour is in top form here, and his playing deserves every bit of accolade that people award this record.

Moon Safari - Blomljud

Been a long time since I've been this engrossed in a new download. Of all today's modern symphonic rock banRAB, Moon Safari is definitely at the top of the line in terms of musicianship and pure vocal bliss, and this album showcases both things in droves. For an idea of their sound, imagine really good Yes-like progressive rock with infinitely more melodic Beach Boys-ish vocals and you've got a basic idea of why I'm in listening heaven right now!

Here's a particularly good track from Blomljud called Yasgur's Farm. Vocals start about 2 minutes in. Enjoy!:
