Fair enough. It just takes a long time to get into them in general, me thinks.
So right now I'm downloading all 3 maudlin of the Well albums. Heard 'em, and loved 'em, all before but since I lost everything on my computer I need to get my music back.
Just got Goldfrapp's new album "Seventh Tree"... it's different from their previous work. It's more down-tempo than it is electropop, which is actually very refreshing. I'm diggin it.
I got these guys from FaSho earlier today and i gotta say I was pretty happy with their sound. There was a lot going on and their sound intrigued me enough to warrant a search for other albums by them, thank you man.
That album was my introduction to The Cure and pretty much changed my taste in music for life! Brings back great memories as well whenever i listen to it.
definately some standout tracks, Black hole Sun, obviously, Spoonman, Day I Tried to Live, Like Suicide etc, but some of it seemed a little half-assed to me
I'm finally listening to their first EP. It's a lot spazzier than their newer material, the keyboarRAB have more presence, and the screaming is quite a bit different. I definitely like it and it's definitely Genghis Tron.
i'm literally miffed by that... it's a bit odd but i don't know how you couldn't like it! Well frankly there could be many reasons...
Incidentally vol.4 is a bit of a disappointment, production's half arsed (for once it sounRAB like a cheap road mixtape) in places and the vocals are mixed too high for no apparent reason... Bleh. the instrumental disc is good though
