Well I've been out shopping today

This is quite good on the first listen, some marvellously sweet sixties instrumentals, and notes on the inside written by Phil Spector

What a voice

Bit late for the party, but hell yeah, this is brilliant

Not bad for Scousers, had a quick flick through and to be honest, there's not one bad song on this.

So yeah, happy days

Picked up the Animal Collective - Fireworks single on vinyl for $3, and it's hot pink! Fun stuff. I also found out that Atmosphere and Brother Ali are playing in Indy on the 17th, for the +21 crowd. :( Hopefully I'll be able to catch them at the meet n' greet at the record store before the show. Fingers crossed people.

Sun Ra - Space Is The Place

Joe Satriani - Is There Love In Space?

Saccharine Trust - We Became Snakes (1986)

fusion of jazz and hardcore, comes off sounding funky and dirty as hell. easily one of the best recorRAB SST has ever produced (and that's saying something). Joe Baiza is swiftly becoming one of my favorite guitarists.

let me know if you want an up.

I hated Nile first time I heard them. Not because of the extreme nature (i love grindcore), I just though that they were generally poor but more listens turned me around to be fair. Good album.

Try these:

Stevie Wonder - Innervisions
Sam Cooke - One Night Stand
Curtis Mayfield - Superfly O.S.T
Al Green - Call Me.

For some recent good quality Soul with a harder edge try Ben Harper.

I'll want that too Pobody, if you don't mind. :tramp:

A odd collection of very, old blues songs which will make you giggle with their suggestive howls and spoken word stummin'
