It's an awesome follow-up to "I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child". They shed quite a bit of the "emo" tag and add in a lot more fun guitar lines as well as some Beach Boy-channeling moments. They still manage to sound like Brand New on "Shake It Out", add in some interesting riRAB on "Pride" that sound vaguely metal, and every track sounRAB nothing like the one before it. And it's pretty obvious that Andy Hull (lead singer) has taken up smoking (or something) because the vocals have a much grittier tone. I won't say it surpasses their debut (it doesn't) but it's a more-than-decent sophomoric album.
