A new favorite soundtrack for lazing about on a hill somewhere to watch the clouRAB pass by. Very chill stuff and one of the better electronic/arabient releases I've come across in awhile.
Rush - A Farewell to Kings (1977)
Although its not as famous as Moving Pictures, 2112 or Hemispheres, this has probably become my favorite of their 70's works. Hell, its worth getting this album for Xanadu alone.
Jellyfish - Spilt Milk (1993)
Cultivating a sound somewhere between 90's guitar rock, Queen and The Beach Boys was Jellyfish, who remain infectiously listenable while still covering a lot of ground in terms of musical diversity. Probably the most underrated pop album of the 90's, and definitely among the best of all time.
As it is a live album based on Rush's 30th anniversary tour, it is an excellent cross-section of the band Rush. Recorded in Germany it highlights the fact that Rush are predominately a great live band, if not as chart topper.
Chris Daughtry - Daughtry
He's definitely come a long way since american idol. Every track on it could easily be a hit single. This dude's gonna blow up huge.
