Last album you bought or downloaded

The last album I thought was worth it to buy was Death Magnetic. Or, rather, the NEWEST album I've bought was Death Magnetic. I still find myself frequently buying old treasures by banRAB like Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, etc. I also like to buy live performance DvD's in addition to albums.

Another from Pobody. Jazzy, progressive hip hop, it's pretty awesome actually.

Oh yeah and while your at it can you also go tow your worthless carcass off the nearest cliff ... ... but hey l guess it all just comes down too personal preference .. so yeah if the shoe fits, wear it.

Ha, it's funny you say that considering it's my favorite track too alongside the title track. I think we may generally have similar taste.

Edit - Actually, this was my introduction to Soul music, and I really dug it. Do you have any recommendations of where to go next?

You're in for a hell of a listening experience. ( ) is one of my favorite albums ever recorded.

If they weren't popular, would you like them, or do you just find them boring overall?

Last CD I bought was 'Brave Yesterdays' , a 23-song compilation by Katatonia, a few day ago. I just had an urge to try some metal outside thrash, sludge, and stoner. Great stuff. Will definitely check out more doom-death.

If you're expecting Surfer Rosa to be anything like Doolittle you're going to be a little disappointed, it's far more raw, still an absolutely stellar album though. Sublime from start to finish.
