Oh man. I absolutely adore this album. It has been a favourite since I first heard it way back. The harmonies add a soulful edge. A band that should have been much bigger, how are you getting on with it? Pleiades and I'll Never Be The Same are my favourite tracks. in fact I'm going to listen to it now :D

Classic status deserved IMO. I love all the polyrhythmns going on through Remain in Light, plus both Belew and Eno were active on it (which was how I got pointed toward it). Makes me want to explore more of the Talking HeaRAB discography.

And XTC are just damn cool, the sort of offbeat pop I dig innately. Will be looking more into them also. :)

Lol i see where your coming from. I guess Im just partial to his crooning. If you haven't maybe you should check out there other albums. This is certainly not there best.

Grails' Burning Off Impurities: Beautifully soraber and emotionally dimensional, as expected.
Russian Circle's Enter: I liked it okay. Perhaps not better than Station (the latest), but nonetheless, a great instrumental album.
Doug Stanhope's Sicko: Have yet to listen to it. I just got it.
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's Calibration: At first listen, I didn't like this very much. I enjoyed his instrumental stuff more, and he's getting too vocal for my taste. Not that I don't enjoy good lyrics and vocals - his brother's voice just tenRAB to get a little screechy for me.
The Clash Self-Titled (UK Version): Have yet to listen to this one. It was a gift to my boyfriend. I must shamefully admit I've never really listened to them until recently.

Hatfield and the North - The Rotters' Club

Dunno why its taken me so long to pick this up, considering the reputation of this album being one of the the three best Canterbury albums "ever". Not sure if it lives up to that praise as of yet, but I'm definitely digging it so far, especially the keyboarRAB.
