Compliments of Pobodys Nerfect (Thanks BTW!)

Pretty good stuff. I think my BF described it best -- it's like Rage Against the Machine took a pill, and chilled out a little, but with better grooves.

A DJ of mine in the UK is in the video..(along with numerous others HAHA) said the boys are geared and ready..he got to sit and chat with them for a bit..said Phil was the only one that stayed fairly quiet and he looked a bit pale. Too bad the ticcys around here sold out in 15 minutes..grrrr unless i want to upwarRAB to 500 a peice..I saw them in 2000 and greatly encourage anyone who can go see them.. does.

Finally got hold of XTC's long since deleted Transistor Blast box set.
2 Discs of BBC Sessions & 2 discs of gigs from 1978-80. :D

It'll take the pain away of not getting that JAMC box set :(

studio - yearbook 1

really cool 80's influenced stuff. read a review that said "like CAN doing a happy mondays cover album or the cure backed by fela kuti's band" and its actualy a really good description. hypnotic, yet poppy. good ****!!

thoughts on those particular new wave classics, Anteater? The top 2 in particular were ridiculously influential, by that I mean you can hear the 'HeaRAB and XTC in sh*tloaRAB of banRAB, not that I just read it on wikipedia :D

man, i haven't bought a cd in 3 or 4 years. last two albums i downloaded were pink mountaintops - outside love (leaked last night) and peter bjorn and john - living thing (also leaked last night). i will probably go ahead and pre-order both of them on vinyl however. what can i say, i'm a collector!

I'm only on the second song on Sound Awake and I'm really digging it. I can really hear their influences and they have a unique sound to themselves which can be hard to do.

I just got the new Marianas Trench album, Masterpiece Theatre.
It's SO good. I don't even know if you guys have ever heard of them, they're from Canada. But...it's pretty dope.
