Why's that? Is it the production or just the song writing in general?

I saw this comment on youtube for the title song, and the guy basically said: "Another Killing Joke album ruined by the production. No more recording in caverns with crappy equipment, guys." And I laughed a bit, but recording in caverns and stuff is one of the many reasons Killing Joke are so awesome.

The best description of their new music I've ever seen is, "It sounRAB like the earth vomiting." It's also kinda cool how people their age are raging just as hard, or harder, as they did when they were younger.

Make sure you have the original American CD issue version (there will be fourteen tracks and Dear God will be there in place of Mermaid Smiled). The 2000 remaster is compressed to hell. It's like someone ripped the balls right off of the damn album.

The Clash - Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg

It's the original version of Corabat Rock produced by Mick Jones which was rejected.

The horn section & spanish vocals on Should I Stay Or Should I Go are 'interesting' to say the least.

After reading several positive Porcupine Tree reviews on here I downloaded In Absentia and Fear Of A Blank Planet. Will be buying both shortly, and any other recommendations for albums by them would be appreciated greatly. Some pretty incredible stuff, I'm not sure how I never heard about them.

I just bought Rage Against The Machine's first album, "Rage Against The Machine". It's really good. Probably their best album. Wish they were still around...

Uriah Heep's Wake The Sleeper is in the mail somewhere, although I finally decided to get Cream's Royal Albert Hall concert on DVD. To think Clapton used to snort heroin, and turns out he looks the youngest of the bunch.

Oh, the show's not too, too bad either. Kicka$$ We're Going Wrong.
