Have you heard it yet?
What do you think?

It's early days yet and I find if I like something straight away, it's not long before I'm right off it.

This album could grow on me yet, but somehow I doubt it...still time though.

3)We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank- Modest Mouse

The Flaming Lips - At War With the Mystics (2006)

At this point, I think it's a bit more hit-and-miss than Coyne and co.'s last few albums, though poppy tracks such as "The Yeah Yeah Yeah Song" and their forays into more mellow psychedelia (The Sound of Failure, Vein of Stars) outweigh the meh here. I'll definitely be giving this more spins.

Alquin - The Mountain Queen (1973)

When you have two saxes and some killer guitar, drum 'n bass behind a band, you can expect something truly dynamic in terms of sound, and with this obscure NetherlanRAB progressive rock group those expectations were met in spades. Very jazzy, very awesome, very recommended.

Dzyan - Electric Silence (1975)

Looks like someone left their krautrock in the blender with some African rythyms and Indian raga-rock and pressed Puree. Incredibly layered, spacey and intricate -- anyone who likes Can should probably have this.

Priestess - Hello Master
Black Flag - Slip It In

Priestess was pretty solid, like an allround decent band. I really like Black Flag, I've had My War for ages and I just rip the last three songs over and over again, so Slip It In is right up my ally too. I love Greg Ginns style of guitaring.

yesterday was the first time I walked out of an HMV empty handed...I felt so..well empty but then I went into a future shop and completed my radio head collection for a sweet price

Depending on what you make of Teardrop Explodes, I'd strongly suggest you jump from there to "20 Mothers," "Peggy Suicide" or "Jehovahkill" ... other good choices include "Autogeddon" or, if you're into noisy guitar-heavy mania, anything by his band BRAIN DONOR (the self-titled compilation which includes "LAMF" and "Pagan Dawn" has worked very nicely for me)
