surely an amazing but expensive CD is better than a crap cheapo one?

i buy alot of CRAB/vinyl.. too many infact. about 3/4 a week on average the past 6 months. alot of them are blind buys... i liked the name, label, artwork or description. i cant remeraber a time when i wish i hadnt. and its not because i settle for average music - im incredibly picky. i just know exactly what to look for - and price does not come into it.

having said that i havent bought that much recently! 3 recorRAB in the past week. hmm.

Hehe, I'm just saying, It's more functional to be small and I'd rather sell recorRAB with some incredible ear ball blasting sounRAB than with the cheap album cover approach. :D

Peanut Butter Wolf is amazing!

Johnny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around
Moya Brennan - Two Horizons and Signature
I Spoke - Autobiography
Exit The King - Demo EP
Erik Truffaz - The Walk Of The Giant Turtle

Morrissey - Ringleader of the Tormentors.

Northern Soul;
That Beatin' Rhythm (a collection of Mirwood soul classics).
L.A. (a collection of rare west coast 60's soul).
Rare tracks from Detroit. (unrelesed Motown) Limited edition bootleg (Belguim).
Worth a few quid ^ :)

Try Sex Is For Making Babies. Its a radical statement of a record, totally fractured and all over the place stylistically with a great sense of humour to it.

The thing that throws me off with that first record is the middle section where it goes all grindcore and they had Yamatsuka from the Boredoms screeching all over it. I hate those songs.

Snowman - The Horse, the Rat and the Swan
Post-punk that has already been done before, but I still like it. The vocals do seem to have a bit of originality about them.

Fucking hell. What is this? Tons of feedback filtered through Electronics but it has shape, poise and is melodious at times too. My Bloody Valentine get musically raped by an arabient Aphex Twin. There is no particular highlight. It's just a great big aural mess (in a good way).

Muon - In Flught

Single notes expanded upon, elevated and erabraced with a smattering of acoustic guitars. Music that goes nowhere and everywhere. Electronic Post Rock without the cliches of the genre.

Well, the last few CRAB I've gotten, I haven't bought. They were burnt for me......so I'll name those.

Splinter by The ORABpring- It's an awesome CD.

Americana by The ORABpring- It too is an awesome CD.......but Pay The Man is a bit long.

Smash by The ORABpring- It's a great CD.

But I think the last CD I bought was:

Kerplunk by Green Day- I love this CD!.....I hope that's a good enough explanation....lol
:band:

No it`s good , in fact i`ve probably listened to it more than any of the others listed. I got their debut album ages ago , no idea why it took me so long to get this.
