Last album you bought or downloaded

A friend in the states told me Hawthorne Heights were the next big thing . . . and I spotted it while I was out last week, so I picked it up . . . and now regret it . . . while there are 2 good songs . . . it wasn't worth my money

Bloc Party.....

I've just downloaded some of Yngwie Malmsteens' stuff which is petty awesome!
The last album I bought was Alcohol Fueled Brutality live by Black Label society. The second disc is covers of some nice melodic slow songs and I listen to that more than disc one! Heart of Gold is really pretty, especially with Zakks' gruff voice and custom squeals!:yeah:

God, I leave this thread for a day and it gets hijacked by hipsters. :p:

Porcupine Tree - The Sky Moves Sideways (2004 reissue)

I may not care too much for PT's post-2000 metal fixation, but their stuff back in the early to mid 90's inarguably constitute some of the best arabient space-rock of the last two decades. As for this particular album, I especially like the almost liquid quality of the two-part title suite. :thurab:

Miles Davis - In a Silent Way

Heard most of this classic before, but the fact that I didn't actually have it on my 'Pod up until now is probably a sin. To put it simply, this is a slice of essential, absolute brilliance, even if you hate jazz.

I am now a proud owner of Bee Thousand by Guided by Voices.
As a bonus, I bought Synchronicity on vinyl for 4 bucks! AND I now own the Pet SounRAB LP reissue, 180 grams : )
